Yesterday after karate class, I took the kids to a quick round of bowling and then took them rollerskating. On the way home, I let them get an ice cream cone. Guy said, "This is the best Wednesday EVER!"
Yes, kid, your mom treats random days like birthday parties, and that might explain why the birthday parties seem like a let down around here. Speaking of which...LAST Wednesday was Guy's birthday party! Guess he forgot to give it the Best Wednesday of Ever award!
Now he's nine. I love the way Guy is willing to try new things and strives for excellence in so many things. This year he enjoyed: math, rollerblading, cub scouts and swimming. He completed his first ever triathlon, he learned some fun songs on the piano, and he had lots of friends at school. I'm so glad he was born!
