Sorry folks! No photo today. I've had a stressful few days because my internet connection isn't working. I never realized quite how accustomed I am to using it as a reference an expecting it to be always at my fingertips. I wanted to make soup and was baffled because I couldn't instantly pull up a dozen recipes to choose from. Then, I decided to call Charter and try to get the problem fixed, but I couldn't find my account number when they wanted it because I only look at my statements online. Then I had used up so many of my prepaid minutes talking on the cell phone (because I normally use vonage and it only works if I am online) that I need more but can't buy them without going online to do so. It's been a very bad circular loop, but I did at least invent my own creamy veggie soup recipe while thinking about what to do.
And then I cheered up with some shopping. I spent $25.82 to buy $135.08 worth of groceries (saving 81%) and this is what I brought home:
8 60-count Disney gummy vitamins (usually $7 each!)
4 boxes of Smart taste rotini pasta
1 Betty Crocker Cake mix and 1 frosting (birthdays are near!)
8 cans of Campbells healthy harvest select chicken and rice soup
4 boxes of Morningstar veggie sausage patties
4 refrigerated Buitoni ravioli packages
2 refrigerated Buitioni sauces
2 gallons of milk
6 Dannon yogurt cups
7 Yoplait yogurt cups
I woulda coulda shoulda bought more tonight, but I didn't have a chance to print all the coupons I dreamed of, because of the internet issues. But hey! We are going to have eggs and vegetarian sausages for breakfast, and then really good ravioli for dinner, and maybe chicken and rice soup for lunch, so tomorrow's gonna be a great day.
