Tappy Shoes

At the Denver Children's Museum (yes, part of our museums-of-the-country tour), they had a nice mirror/ dancefloor/ costume/ music set-up so the kiddos could experiment with dancing. Tiny put on some "tappy shoes" and danced for an hour. I had to drag her away when it was time to move on. Zoe experimented with some ballet pirouttes and... break-dance moves? I think I need to register these gals for dance classes at home!

The same museum also had a fabulous paint easel set-up. Tiny explored brushes as well as alternative ways of getting paint onto the canvas. I was most impressed that when she went to wash her hands, within 10 seconds the staffer had replaced the paper, wiped down the easel and paint-tray, and cleaned up any errant paint! Fast service!
