Today after swimming with the 4 kids I got annoyed at the fact that it takes us 90 minutes to swim and 45 minutes to shower, shampoo, and get dried, dressed, brushed, shoed and snacked. WHy does everything I do takes 5 times longer because I have 5 times more people in my care?
I also require 5 times more trips between car and house to get all of our library books, gym bags, heelies, baby dolls, blankies, coats, snowpants, (oh and melted groceries) inside. I may be the only one, but I am a tiny bit sad that the sub-zero freeze has lifted (temporarily?) because now I can't leave frozen stuff in the car for unlimited time periods. The good news is I can leave fresh foods in the car and they won't accidentally freeze...so there's always that.
The other good news is that I can kick the kids out to play for long periods of time. But they'll come home covered in mud which will take me 25 minutes to get into the washing machine.
