Yes, I apologize for not taking photos and posting. WHAT was I doing with my time?! I can openly admit that I LOVE having a tiny baby around. Clementine is such a pleasure to hold and rock and gaze at for long moments. And now, to add to the joys, she's giving some feedback with nice big smiles!
It is very easy to get Clementine to smile for the camera because she loves lights. When she sees the red-eye light flashing, that sets her off into big grins with no other provocation. At her 2-month checkup, she just LOVED it when the doctor shined the light into her eyes (she didn't love it so much when she was immunized, but quieted in only a moment.)
In addition to having smiles to share, Clementine is easy-going most of the time and sleeps like a champ (usually from 9 PM-4AM, then right back to sleep until 7 AM). My only big concern with her is to avoid exposure to flu bugs, especially now that I have developed a nasty cough. But, you're still welcome to hold her and enjoy a few minutes of bliss (I have hand sanitizer tucked away in the carseat, purse, car, and house for you to use.)
