Buying car tires: kids took turns jumping on the trampoline, which resembles a giant tire.
Car-detailing: actually, child-detailing (with toy Hotwheels tatoos).
Finding a gas-station: pretty similar to finding Easter eggs....we just said the candy inside was fuel. The main difference was we didn't charge the kids $4 for each egg they found.

Carwash: The Hokey-pokey, with car-parts! You put your door (elbow) in, or perhaps your bumper (knees), headlights (eyes), or even trunk (figure that one out), and you wash it all about before doing the hokey pokey. Everyone liked this one!
Car-park: Toss the tennis balls into the many different garages and parking spaces (cardboard boxes with divisions and cubbies). The first photo shows Guy after making a nice shot.
Relay races: After about 30 seconds, I realized several of my guests were too occupied or immature to understand the relays, so we canceled them.
Road making: At the table, the kids spun a wheel to see what kind of road piece they could add. Then they got to stick it on and drive their cars. Here's a photo of the kids at the table.
And after cake-n-ice cream, it was present time. I was exhausted! You can see Guy and Xander both went nuts over a Where's Waldo book from Gramma CJ, and he gleefully celebrated the $5 bill someone sent (it was later spent on Pokemon cards at a yard sale.)
